Alex Smith VS. The Saints

2 OF 7 FOR 10 YARDS, Sacked Twice.

He looked more prepared to get stoned at the Outside Lands Concert rather than play one single down of NFL Football.

2011-2012 Season Is Upon Us

We could have signed Michael Vick.

We kept Alex Smith.

We could still sign Brett Favre.

For now, we’re stuck with Alex Smith.

Tonight, we embark on a new series of suffering brought to us once again by Alex Smith.

I wish there were rumors about Alex Smith bulking up, working on his throw, and increasing his passer efficiency.

All I have heard about is Colin Kaepernick, the heir apparent to Alex Smith, and his successful surgery.  This does not bode well for serious 49er fans. Pray for us, other NFL Elite Teams.

Alex Smith Sucks!

Loyal Alex Smith Fans Support AlexSmithSucks.com!

Stop Making Ari Yell At You

The rowdies @ Typhoon Saloon in San Diego/Pacific Beach California sent me a photo to show their loyalty to current San Francisco 49ers starting quarterback Alex Smith.  You guys keep raging it up and cheering for the lost cause.  I was there for the Seattle game.  All of us left the bar humiliated, and I am currently still humiliated that I call you my friends.  I am 100% positive that the guy in the middle turned his #11 Alex Smith jersey inside out after the first half of the Seattle fiasco.  I wouldn’t call that loyal, but hey I may be partial since I can’t stand Alex Smith.  While I’m at it, who sells their 49ers season tickets to Philadelphia Eagles fans for the home game???  That isn’t loyalty, that is a travesty to all 49er fans.  I guess you really don’t know what to believe in.  Your whole decision-making process is as messed up and flawed as Alex Smith trying to decide who to pass the football to while 2-stepping, happy feet’ing, and freaking out in the pocket.

Win A Game And All Is Forgotten…Not So Fast Alex Smith

Objectively:

16 for 33

196 yards

2 TD’s AND 0 INT’s

These stats from Alex Smith helped secure the victory against the Oakland Raiders.

Subjectively:

Alex Smith still sucked.  He finally put together more than 2 quarters of decent football.  Alex Smith finally helped secure a victory for his team.  Too bad our opponent was the Oakland Raiders.  You get no sympathy from me Alex Smith.  You still threw wobbly passes; Luckily none were intercepted.  You got the job done…Against the Raiders.  Show me a solid performance against a top team.  I blame Alex Smith for my team losing.  I don’t give Alex Smith credit when the 49ers win.  This time, I will use the “team effort” explanation for the sloppy victory against the Raiders on Sunday.  Alex Smith sailed the ship correctly and enabled the 49ers to be in a situation to come out with a victory.

Just because the 49ers have finally won an NFL game does not mean they are out of the wood works.  Nor does that mean that Alex Smith should keep his job.  We as loyal/realist 49ers fans want to see our team function properly week after week.  Constantly throwing picks and fumbling the ball does not equal a successful team.  Carolina Panthers up next!

Alex Smith led this team to an 0-5 start.  As one of the captains on the San Francisco 49ers, he is responsible for what the team does both on and off the field.  On the field thus far, we as a team have pretty much stunk.  As an individual, Alex Smith has sucked more.  I have not forgotten all of the errant passes, idiotic fumbles, avoidable interceptions, and overall lack of consistent effort.  I pray, for the sake of my team, that you turn out to be a decent quarterback and leader.  Through 6 weeks, your effort and achievements as and individual and teammate have been well below average.

To all of the “loyal” 49ers fans with horse blinders on, feel free to keep rooting for Alex Smith.  I’m just warning you, that your actions could get you beat up by the thousands of loyal fans without blinders on shouting Carr, Carr, Carr.

The Booo’s Weren’t for Halloween Mr. Smith

Dear Alex Smith,

You are an athlete.  You are a human being.  You need to get your act together.  For months I have been praying for Singletary to grab your facemask and get you motivated like he did to VD a while back.  The results are evident.  I sometimes wonder what is going on in your head when you get those happy feet and end up throwing a wobbly errant pass over 2 wideouts.  Then, there are times I wonder how you threaded the pass to VD in the flat.  My problem with you is the inconsistency.  All I know is that I have been to multiple games this season, and on average, you have had about 2 good quarters each game.  We know you have skills.  You need to channel them into a solid 4 quarters.  Stop this TD, PUNT, FUMBLE, INT, PUNT, FUMBLE, TD, INT, BS.  Get consistent so that we can make a decision on you.  Either do really well so that I can stop this damn website.  Or, do really crappy so that I can continue my weekly rant about how terrible you looked.  I have nothing against you, except for the fact you are turning a storied franchise into the 2008 Detroit Lions.

I would like a WIN by Thanksgiving…

Thanks Again,

Eric

Alex Smith Does Suck

Week 4 Results VS. Atlanta

Hot Off The Press

Alex Smith Stats

21/32 188 Yards 1TD 2INT 65.6 Passer Rating

The stats continue to suck and the losses mount.  I am beginning to wonder if there is an art to the inaccurate pass.  Alex Smith sure makes it look pretty.  0-4???? My 49ers????  Alex Smith, if you’re reading this, don’t throw the ball to me, your errant pass might hit my friend to the left or right.  Someone comment on here and tell me I am wrong about his play today…

Another heart-breaker in the books.  Our defense kicked ass today fantasy point wise, but Alex Smith still sucked.

Great Week 3 Alex Smith

Can the leadership get any worse?  Do not bring up the final drive with time expiring.  No one cares, and Alex Smith tossed up a pass that got Morgan injured.  Those fantasy points should not count to Smith’s totals.  Oh yeah, and here we have the firing of Mr. Raye.  He should not have been hired anyways.  Take a look at a list of Raye’s work history.  With a resume like this, I wouldn’t think he could find work so easily.

O-Coordinator Raye's Work History

“I’m focusing on doing my job,” Crabtree said of his connection with Smith. “I can’t worry about what Alex is doing. Even though that’s my quarterback and I always have his back. But at the same time, whoever the quarterback is, I’m going to do my job.”

This sounds exactly like he wants a new QB.  Can anyone else read between the lines?  All that the firing of Jimmy Raye did was postpone the inevitable…The DEMOTION, RELEASE, or TRADE of Alex Smith.

Sundays statistics line looked like this

23 of 42 for 232 with 1 TD 1 INT with a QB Rating of 68.8

I’ve told the guy that is a few posts below that I will slam Alex Smith every time the 49ers lose or he has a QB Rating below 80.  Both of these occurred on Sunday, so I am going to be a little louder.  Alex Smith may be good.  He may end up doing great things.  It is more than likely his greatness will occur off of the football field in another career such as car sales, grocery bag packing a la Kurt Warner, or telemarketing.

When you have a shitty wideout like Crabtree bitching that he is doing everything he can to the press, you have to understand that things are simply not going well in the clubhouse.  Once again, I blame the guy that the team voted Captain;  Ding ding ding…that’s you again Alex Smith.  Keep a lookout for another site about Michael Crabtree being a terrible football player soon as well.  Can anyone say overrated?

Many who read this article will want to blame someone else or say that it was a team loss on Sunday.  That is fine, and you are entitled to your opinion, but I blame Smith.  I have to end this with a photo.  When i saw this AP photo of Smith and Raye together exchanging words, I couldn’t help but think that Smith was asking Raye to put in a few good words for him wherever he ends up.  Wherever it is, Smith is going to need as many people standing up for him after the weekly show of mediocrity we have come to expect on Sundays.  Have a good evening, quit reading this, and go watch the guy we could have drafted on MNF!

Let me know what you think Smith and Raye are chatting about in the comment box below!
